Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global metal producer looking to hire a Technical Customer Support Manager to join the team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- To support primary foundry alloy customers globally with technical advice and expertise, ensuring the best possible product development/support
- Act as the first point of technical contact for customers with regards to claims and quality issues, providing pre and after-sale advice as well as undertaking necessary customer visits
- Identify customer requirements, assist in downstream optimisation and lead product qualifications
- Liaise effectively with other technical and commercial divisions internally to expand sales and marketing success
- Reports into Global Product Development Director
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production with specific expertise on primary foundry alloys
- Previous experience working in a customer support role for a major producer
- Strong knowledge of aluminium casting processes, quality control, main downstream processes etc.
- Ability to travel and visit customers globally
- Located in Singapore
