Your Role

Our Technology and Digital Risk (TDR) team offers an unequalled depth of experience in providing governance, risk, control and assurance solutions to meet our client's needs, with focus on the Corporate and Public sector (CPS). We design, implement and provide assurance over business process and technology controls to manage the risks our clients face on a day-to-day basis.

Within our CPS team you will gain a breadth of insight across a diverse range of the most prestigious corporate and public sector organisations both in the UK and internationally. You will work in a team of highly motivated individuals and have access to leading training and development opportunities, allowing you to develop both personally and technically.

Within the TDR CPS team, you will have the opportunity to specialise in sub-sectors such as Technology, Media & Telecoms; Energy & Resources, Consumer & Industrial Products, Life Sciences etc.


•Supporting the delivery of client engagements ranging from high-value advisory and assurance work through to large-scale execution of risk and control programmes
•Field managing delivery teams and building distinctive client relationships
•Acting as the first point of contact for clients
•Supporting and managing junior staff on the engagement team
•Building your expertise in the Corporate and Public sector to develop genuine insight for our clients, and sharing this knowledge with the wider team.
•Contributing to the development of innovative products and services that respond to market developments and the changing risk landscape.
•Playing an active role in the management of our practice, including coaching junior staff and assisting with business development

Location: This role is located in our Edinburgh office. Travel to client sites and other Deloitte offices is required.

Hours: T his is a permanent role (typical hours are 9.30 - 5.30pm) with a degree of flexibility. We do encourage careful consideration of agile ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients.

Your professional experience:

  • Experienceof managing and delivering technology assurance engagements or in the field ofrisk and control in any of the three lines of defence, and familiarity withgeneral IT controls.
  • Demonstratedability to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experienceor exposure to areas such as devops, agile, cloud, blockchain and cyber riskassurance is desired but not essential.
  • Atechnology related background and/or experience of data analytics is desired.
  • Aproactive mind-set, with the ability to take responsibility and drive keyactions forward coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills toaid effective interaction with senior clients and stakeholders.
