Purpose of the role

The Financial Operations Assistant role is to support the day to day running of the financial operations of the business.

Role responsibilities:

  • Bank account management
    • Activation and set-up of bank accounts and borrower control accounts
    • Maintain good working relationships with corporate banker
  • Liaising with deal teams on operational aspects of transactions prior to closing
  • Maintenance and administration of upstream and downstream bank account and contact details
  • Assist in completion of regulatory returns in line with the European Securities and Markets Authority
  • Aid in information collation for quarterly facility servicing reporting
  • Supporting the upload of key information onto core banking system
  • Maintain and carry out efficient controls around both upstream and downstream payments
  • Cash and loan administration
    • Ensure upstream and downstream payment notifications are accurate and sent in a timely manner using integrated systems
    • On-going monitoring of cash movements within both the business and borrower bank accounts
    • Maintaining and adhering to processes around cash and loan administration
    • Support the quarterly IPD process and set up ad-hoc payments of invoices

Skills, knowledge and experience required for the role:

  • 1+ years in a treasury/payments/loans adminstration role
  • Comfortable reviewing funds flows and IRRs
  • Able to interact directly and autonomously with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate excel skills and experience using finance systems

Written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail
