As an Assessment Operations Product Manager , you are an integral part of the team that modernizes and optimizes assessment operations across the end-to-end lifecycle through intake, configuration, delivery, monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. As a core leader, you act as the voice of the customer, translating needs into clear product strategy, prioritized roadmaps, and well-defined requirements.

Utilizing your deep understanding of how to take products from concept to stable operations, you guide successful launches, capture feedback and performance signals, and ensure top-tier user experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, stability, and control readiness, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including Cybersecurity operations, technology, risk/control partners, vendors, and business stakeholders-to deliver outcomes that are efficient, compliant, and sustainable.

Job responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for assessment operations capabilities (e.g., intake workflows, scheduling/fulfillment, configuration, reporting, issue management, and operational tooling).
• Translate business and operational needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics (SLAs, defect rates, cycle time, candidate experience, rework).
• Partner with operations teams to design and continuously improve standard operating procedures, runbooks, and exception-handling workflows, balancing speed with quality.
• Lead cross-functional execution from discovery through delivery, coordinating technology, operations, vendor partners, and governance stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships where applicable: performance, controls alignment, change management, and roadmap dependencies.
• Drive release readiness (training, communications, cutover plans), and post-launch measurement to ensure adoption and sustained performance.
• Ensure solutions meet control requirements; partner with risk/control teams to document processes and support audits as needed.
• Establish clear governance and prioritization for enhancements, defects, and operational improvements, communicating tradeoffs and decisions transparently.
• Drive established strategic priorities end-to-end as part of the book of work, translating roadmap objectives into executable delivery plans, aligning cross functional stakeholders, managing dependencies/risks, and ensuring on time, high quality outcomes with clear progress reporting and benefits realization.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Demonstrated success delivering products in high volume, operationally intensive environments (workflow-driven, SLA-based, customer-facing operations).
• Strong ability to convert ambiguous needs into clear requirements, with a track record of roadmap prioritization and stakeholder alignment.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence across technology, operations, and governance partners.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with risk, controls, privacy, or audit expectations in a regulated environment.
• Experience with vendor integrated products (third-party platforms, APIs, SLAs, performance governance).
• Background partnering with engineering teams in agile delivery (backlog management, sprint planning, release planning).
• Experience building operational tooling such as self-service configuration, case management, automated routing, or reporting/analytics layers.
