Our client, a financial services focused not-for-profit organisation, are looking to hire a Finance & Operations Manager into their London based team. The firm, who focus on social change within the financial services industry across the UK and European market, currently have committed funding allowing them to continue their fantastic work for at least the next five years. As the Finance & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the financial, legal, HR and administrative operations of the business. On a daily basis you will be working very closely with the CEO whilst being the main point of contact for a number of outsourced providers.
This is a significant appointment for the organisation and is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for diversity & inclusion to really make an impact and become an integral member of the team. Due to the nature of the organisation their will be a degree of flexibility in terms of working hours and working location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Formulation of annual budgets forecasts and supporting the board on strategy
  • Management of the accounting function; bookkeeping, quarterly reports, tax affairs, treasury accounts, annual audit process
  • Managing all aspects of the payroll process
  • Ensuring compliance with pension auto-enrolment requirements
  • Supporting the CEO in day-to-day management of Projects
  • Company secretary duties; statutory filing, drafting board minute, maintaining company registers
  • Legal contract review to support other team members
  • Intellectual property - including the management of ongoing trademark registration process
  • Supporting the board on ad-hoc projects
  • Reporting and presenting to the board and monthly meetings
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Previous experience within or knowledge of the Private Equity industry
  • Able to work individually and comfortable to sign off company accounts
  • Experience with XERO accounting software would be advantageous
  • Able to work well with senior stakeholders and external providers
  • A general passion for diversity, inclusion and social change
