We have partnered with a well established, and renowned Real Estate investment business that has a large presence in central London. They have a collaborative office made up of 30 individuals, with eight sitting on the finance side.
They are looking for a Financial Controller to join the team in a very broad and ever-changing role. The FC is the number two in finance and would take on the management of one accountant, but oversight of the legal & property teams. You would essentially take oversight of the quarterly management accounts, statutory reporting, but also all commercial aspects of finance.
Being responsible for the 12-month cashflow forecast, annual budget planning, business partnering with the property and investment teams, visiting sites, and over all adding value to the company. This is seen as a very senior position within the business, you would be required to join most senior exec meetings. This in turn offers excellent opportunities for growth as the FD continues to pass over more responsibilities.
Ideally, they are looking for someone that has extensive management accounts experience along with being technically minded. You would need to be able to speak to the wider business and partner with non-finance areas.
You will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualified. With 2+ Years experience, ideally within Real Estate, although this is not essential.
