Department FX - Trading
Department Overview FX Trading provides client pricing and risk management to BNYM Markets FX franchise. The global team operate on a 24*5.5 model across all major currencies, pricing clients on FX Spot, FX Forwards, FX Swaps and NDFs and also utilizing STIRT products for hedging.
Job Purpose Trading - IC1 Core member of the London FX Trading desk, providing FX Sales pricing on FX Forwards and risk management of positions. Works with global team members across FX Sales & Trading to ensure seamless client execution and round the clock risk management. Works with control functions - Technology, Ops, Risk, Finance and Compliance to ensure the smooth operational of the trading desk in a controlled and compliant manner. Provides internal Sales and external clients market colour on how various product and currencies are trading. Works with Business Management, Product Development and Technology to improve the overall platform for FX Trading. . Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Masters/PhD Mathematics preferred. A minimum of 3 years work experience in FX Trading must, covering G10 and CE3/ZAR Cross Currencies, EM Asian Rates, FX Forwards.
Experience in Options preferred. Proven ability to build Excel and Python based trading tools required. Ability to speak Mandarin to a business level, a major advantage.
Working conditions and other information (working hours, full time, permanent etc.) Monday to Friday 35 hour week
