Python Developer - City of London
Rapidly expanding fintech based in the heart of London are looking for a Python developer to join their application development team. Their focus is to deploy sophisticated technology to analyse financial trade and risk data, then use that information to generate transaction proposals and organise their execution. They are looking to grow both the company and their employees organically in their open, friendly working environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Working both individually or as part of a team to deliver the best possible software solutions
- Building APIs for scenario generation
- Promoting continuous improvement at every stage of the SDLC driven by testing
- Generate files and reports for both clients and 3 rd parties
Essential Requirements: - Strong degree in either Computer Science, Maths or Physics from a top-tier university
- 3-5 years of professional Python development
- Experience with both Git and Unix
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- An appreciation of other programming paradigms (imperative, OO, functional)
