Sales – Director

Core Accountabilities


  • Self-starter, collaborative in approach, a challenger sales person
  • Build and manage pipeline through direct sales as well as partner conduits
  • Manage prospects from qualifying to close of business
  • Strive to exceed annual revenue quotas
  • Manage prospects and customers at executive and C-suite level across multiple functions
  • Manage the RFI/RFP processes
  • Accurately manage and communicate sales forecasts and sales cycle detail
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior members of the team




  • Extensive and proven track record in sales
  • Capital markets or software (preferably SaaS) sales
  • Collateral management and related market practices preferred however experience in capital markets, securities finance, OTC and cleared derivatives also relevant
  • Broad exposure to regulatory developments within collateral and capital markets
  • Developing sound commercial proposals and presentations for customers




  • Advanced relationship building
  • Knowledge of Challenger Sales methodology
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; challenging existing industry practices
  • Apply industry knowledge and understanding of customer and competitive landscape to feed into product roadmap and marketing efforts
  • Represent CloudMargin at conferences and industry forums
  • Maintain and expand channel distribution and pipeline building through technology and distribution partner network
