Our client one of the Largest Financial Groups Globally is looking for a Sanctions VP to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role will sit within their Sanctions division and is paying £80,000 + benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Sanctions SME knowledge, risk management and guidance for Sanctions systems and other related transformation initiatives
- Contribute to the implementation of and compliance with Global Policies, Standards and Procedures which govern MUFG’s financial crime control framework across EMEA;
- Manage and oversee the London and Regional List Management processes with a focus on adhering with Global Standards and procedures
- Support oversight of the implementation of initiatives related to sanctions, including system rollouts and new policy/procedure implementation
- Act as a risk manager and gatekeeper for List Management related activities, including uploading Sanctions lists, undertaking risk management, managing and upkeeping
Key Requirements:
- Previous Sanctions Experience
- Previous Experience with Issues Management and Audit and Testing Teams
- Strong Knowledge of Banking and Sanctions Controls
- Experience in Managing teams and Senior Stakeholder Engagement
