Senior Accountant

Contract | London | Hybrid Working

A global, fast‑paced organisation within the technology and creative media space is seeking an experienced Senior Accountantto join its growing finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting the global business, with a strong focus on month‑end close, statutory reporting, and financial controls.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment with shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support and help prepare workflows for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
2. Assist with statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
3. Perform regular analysis of operating expenses to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
4. Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency initiatives
5. Support SEC filings and SOX compliance activities
6. Work independently and collaboratively across multiple time zones
7. Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as required

Experience & Qualifications

1. ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
2. Strong working knowledge of US GAAP (exposure to EMEA and APAC standards is an advantage)
3. Solid understanding of financial reporting processes and internal controls
4. Previous experience within public accounting (Big 4 or mid‑tier firms preferred)
5. 3–5 years’ relevant experience; technology and/or creative media industry experience is advantageous
6. Experience with Workday Financial Management is a plus but not essential
7. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
