ROLE DESCRIPTION

Capco are looking for a Senior BI Consultant to partner with a leading Investment Bank and help deliver Data Quality / Data Architecture / Big Data projects.

  • Develop Shell & SQL scripts to assist in the daily support of production & UAT issues
  • Provide Level 1/2/3 application production support for in scope data related applications
  • Manage offshore team members
  • Work along with onshore support team to manage batch support of jobs feeding in data and delivering data to consumers.
  • Work on minor enhancements/developments as prioritized by Business and deploy into production following the Change management cycle
  • Provide admin support on Informatica and Qlikview

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

  • Database application development experience (Oracle, SQL Server etc.
  • Strong experience scripting on Unix/Linux using Bash, Perl, etc.
  • Strong experience with BI tool’s preferably Qlikview
  • Good understanding of data management principles, including data quality management, data architecture, data governance, data risks and controls
  • Significant multiyear experience working within Production Support
  • Experience with development tools that aid in debugging, locating memory errors, performance analysis, etc.
  • Performance troubleshooting and tuning experience
  • Financial Services Industry experience.
