Join a technology-first financial services firm building mission-critical software for trading and post-trade operations. The team is responsible for the real-time GUI applications, dashboards and internal platforms relied upon by front-office and operational users every day, alongside the Python services and distributed systems that sit behind them.

Responsibilities

Build and enhance complex GUI applications used in real-time environments
Develop trading, operational and workflow management tools
Design and build Python services, APIs and backend components
Work on event-driven and distributed systems handling large volumes of data
Create intuitive dashboards and visualisation tools for business-critical workflows
Collaborate directly with users to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions
Contribute to architecture, platform design and engineering best practices

Requirements

Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer within a trading environment
Excellent front-end development skills and experience building sophisticated GUI applications
Strong Python development experience in production environments
Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems
Exposure to real-time or data-intensive applications
Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving ability
Financial services, fintech or trading technology experience is advantageous
