Senior Program Director

The Senior Program Director is responsible for the overall Product and Technology Product delivery portfolio outside of product engineering. This is a highly collaborative role with prioritization on:
  • Leading strategic Product and Technology programs
  • Partnering for assurance in Product and Technology disciplines
  • Transparency of Program and initiative progress, tolerance breaches and other exceptions
  • Development of systemised process and templates providing delivery resources clear guidance on compliance requirements.

An innovative delivery transformation leader with significant achievements in delivering large programs, managing operations, analytics and commercial process, the Senior Program Director is highly business driven is and focused on implementing a long-term sustainable global delivery transformation program for the Finastra product portfolio, ensuring continued business success.

  • Development of Finastra's Product and Technology Program Delivery capability and the implementation of SAFe delivery methodologies for the product portfolio, thus ensuring continued business success for customers
  • Ensures and own a cohesive, successful delivery road-map for cross functional programs and initiatives.
  • Leads a team of program and project resources in a matrix-ed environment and works on building consistency across Lines of Business
  • Partners with product teams on cross functional delivery practices and in delivery of solutions.
  • Responsible for recommending new processes or implementing target practices across Business Operations.
  • Partners with Architecture and Security teams for compliance to enterprise and solution architecture and security standards
  • Collaborate with solution leadership, marketing, finance and product on cross functional initiatives.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal and Operations departments to optimize program budgets and capitalization
  • Develop relevant cross-functional relationships to understand products, competition and the competitive market.

  • Proven track record in successfully defining and implementing programs and managing teams at global or regional level and experience of delivery in a similar software / technology environment; including business change transformation programs and program management.
  • Substantial executive presence and gravitas; proficiency in influencing and negotiation across different groups.
  • Highly data-oriented. Quantitative, empirical and detail oriented - comfortable in data-intensive environments and with evidence-based decision making.
  • Proven change champion
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to drive results, experience collaborating within a complex matrix organization.
  • Experience managing global initiatives.
  • Comfortable in and energized by constant change.
  • Positive mindset, resilient, self-motivated and balanced.
  • Insight, independence of thought and courage to move forward with critical organizational choices and decisions.
  • Culturally aware, understands cultural differences and interacts well with people from all over the world.
