Description

The Technical Project Manager will be part of a team providing Program Management for a number of firm wide technology transformation initiatives, including the Universal Archive Service Program and the Records Management Technology Program. The successful candidate will support the development and adoption of these services across all LOBs.

Role
The Technical Project Manager role will consist of:

  • Manage and support multiple projects, ensuring they are well defined, aligned to business goals, well documented and appropriately reported
  • Ensure all risks and issues are understood, raised, prioritized and escalated (if appropriate) with sufficient time to enable resolution &/or independent decisions to be made
  • Manage project schedules and ensure milestones are met or escalated in advance if there is any risk of delay
  • Meeting management - ensure all project meetings are effective and appropriately documented
  • Close interaction with all LOBs to ensure requirements are understood and met
  • Close interaction with Compliance and Legal to understand the various requirements across all legislations JP operates in.
  • Manage and assist with product RFPS, proof of concepts, pilots and production roll-out
  • Timely and regular communication of progress

. Skills
  • Some understanding of Financial Services Regulations that impact Technology, for example GDPR (EU), MIFID II
  • Knowledge of data management and records management concepts
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing to generate and maintain support for challenging goals that optimize GT performance.
  • Ability to manage projects, adjusting priorities, plans and costs according to requirements.
  • Analytical mind, service-minded approach and keen to resolve problems
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
  • Experience of business analysis, test planning, and activity planning.
  • Ability to tailor communication of the plans (i.e., high level vs detailed level) based on the audience.
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints

Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences or related field
  • Experience in managing technical projects across development and infrastructure
  • Experienced in working with a Global team in multiple time zones
  • Experience in Agile methodology a plus
