About the Role
As a Telephone Account Manager (known internally as Wealth Sales Consultant) for Quilter, you will be a key part of UK Platform Sales Distribution with responsibility for ensuring that your pre-defined panel of accounts is managed effectively and opportunities for new business maximised through marketing Quilter products and through supporting company initiatives – contributing to and working with the strong and successful Wealth Sales Consultant team.
You will enhance the work of strategic relationships where applicable and support sales and marketing campaigns. Your success will be measured by the amount of new business generated from your accounts and the efficiency and effectiveness of issue management and customer service.
You will build a good understanding of your panel accounts, their product mix/gaps and identify the key contact within each and maintain accurate management information on these accounts. You will Keep up to date on Quilter product developments and propositions including a programme of marketing campaigns with accounts, maximising return. You will also work with colleagues, proactively suggesting ways to deliver an enhanced return.
To be successful in the role of Telephone Account Manager (Wealth Sales Consultant), you will need to have a knowledge of the UK Platform market and ideally of had previous financial services telesales experience - knowledge of UK investment portfolios including funds and models is preferred.
You will have attained QCF Level 4, and it would also be advantageous to have used Salesforce or similar.
It isn’t essential that you have a good understanding of Quilters key products and services as we can teach you that, however it would be beneficial if you do.
As this is a telephone-based sales role, you will need proven sales and relationship management skills, working as a team player in a telesales environment where overall team success is preferred.
