CloudMargin is a young and exceptionally dynamic Software as a Service (SaaS) Financial Technology company offering highly innovative solutions to assist our clients with their risk and margin management requirements. By basing its solution in the cloud, CloudMargin is able to reduce product development lead times, accelerate implementation, form part of a ‘fabric’ of best of breed providers and also significantly reduce the costs of service provision.

The Role

We are looking for a senior individual who will be responsible for the UK, Middle East and Africa region.  As a senior member of the CloudMargin sales team you will be expected to:

Managing the Team

  • Effectively manage the UK team (London based)
    • Recruitment
    • Appraisals
    • Goal setting
  • You are responsible for the team target in the region
  • Strategy development / execution
  • Resource allocation
  • Develop and manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas

Personal Objectives

  • Meet or exceed personal sales target on a quarterly, and annual basis
  • Maintain good ‘admin’ around pipeline and opportunity management
  • Develop articulate value propositions, and execute in the field
  • Ongoing coordination with all CloudMargin teams (solutions, marketing, engineering, operations, legal, sales and finance) to bring the whole company to bear in client engagement
  • Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, other emerging technologies, & competitors
  • Participates in various headquarter/regional planning and training activities

Essential Experience Required

  • Direct Sales experience in software and/or SaaS with proven experience in solution selling to new name clients
  • Ability to develop proposals and presentations for customers in a way that adds value to the sales process
  • Ability to present the platform to business and technology executives and coordinate appropriate messaging at various levels of management
  • Experience in positioning a solution to meet business requirements

Desirable Experience Required

  • Experience in sales management
  • Knowledge of derivatives, collateral management, clearing or other associated disciplines
  • Contacts within buyside and/or sellside target institutions and knowledge of the industry at large
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and technology

Skills Required

  • Degree educated
  • Solution/Consultative sales techniques and relationship building
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and public speaking
  • Excellent problem solving skills; ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets
