Net/SQL Developer to work inside the IT Support function to help deliver, maintain and support systems. The role demands strong technical knowledge, team player attitude and a strong programming background. The .Net Developer with work with the existing developer support team and will report into the UK application Support manager.

Job summary

.Net/SQL Developer to work inside the IT Support function to help deliver, maintain and support systems. The role demands strong technical knowledge, team player attitude and a strong programming background. The .Net Developer with work with the existing developer support team and will report into the UK application Support manager.

Working with the wider team or individually you will be responsible for:

      
•Developing/supporting systems using C#, .Net, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Angular.
•Developing/supporting systems using SSIS Packages and SSRS reports.
•Developing/supporting systems using SQL database tools and language.
•Developing/maintaining Web Services (SOAP,REST, JSON).
•Creating and supporting current Azure CI/CD pipelines.
•Participate in mentoring, code reviews and pair programming.
•Responsible for maintaining & supporting in-house business applications.
•Completion of program specification, design and coding documentation.
•Provide training & support to developers.

 

Qualifications/Experience
•Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Computing, Development etc.).
•5 years+ C#/VB.net and ASP.net development.
•SOAP, REST and SQL experience.
•SSIS/SSRS experience.
•Azure CI/CD pipeline experience desirable.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Good problem solving abilities.
•Committed to self-development.
