What are the ongoing responsibilities of a UX Design & Researcher?
Reporting directly to our Client Experience Manager, Franklin Templeton is looking for a UX Design & Researcher to join our Client Experience team In this role you will collaborate with our Client Marketing, your peer Design team, and our Technology teams to help us achieve our vision.
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex UX roadblocks
Propose and produce UI designs, artwork and wireframes based on specifications
Interact with the Publishing, Development and QA teams during the build process to feed-in needed specifications to ensure the build is as was intended
Develop and add to user experience design standards and pattern libraries
Take initiative to develop new design solutions where appropriate, or identify possible future features and enhancements
Study user needs, conduct user research and evaluate user feedback, communicate with platform users (clients, etc.) to gather information, and periodically propose improvements
What ideal qualifications would help someone be successful?
Bachelors’ degree in Design (UX, Product)
3+ years of UX website and application design and research experience
A strong online portfolio of web and application design work
Experience working with Client Experience or Product Managers and Front-end Developers
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to present design concepts clearly and to persuade colleagues, partners and stakeholders
Ability to work efficiently, independently, and to demonstrate a bias for fast-paced action in sometimes ambiguous environments;
Proficiency in UX design and prototyping tools, such as InVision
Proficiency with testing platforms, such as Google Optimize and UserTesting.com
Proficiency with Voice-of-Consumer platforms, such as Qualtrics and Decibel
