Who you will work with:
Youll be working with teams across Enterprise, from data analysts to senior executives, to better understand their individual or department needs for use of Enterprise data. Youll then work closely with the data professionals in the team to meet those needs in innovative ways.
What you will do:
The key to this role is to be outward-facing working with people across Enterprise. This person will learn about the available data across the bank and approaches to re-use this data. He/she will also work across the Enterprise to teach, educate, and train on how to generate insights from Enterprise data and provide value to the business.
Data Enablement Managers spot opportunities, scope projects, and define value. They develop and deliver standard processes and guiding principles to maximize the enablement of the data capabilities to as many as possible. Working alongside users, gathering feedback, and refining approaches is a key part of the role.
Youll be working independently as well as in matrixed teams, providing leadership and defining collaborative work packages, and as this is an evolving group and suite of capabilities, adapting to ambiguity alongside other members of the team. If you have a strong aptitude for data, analytics, AI and problem solving, then this is the role for you.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate courage and teamwork. Being comfortable with challenging the status quo and suggesting new approaches are key.
Using either machine learning capabilities or other out-of-the-box solutions, identify the opportunity to leverage our data to generate value for the business
Know and understand different business user needs and processes
Connect and build a relationship with users to re-invent processes through harnessing data and tools in innovative and value-driven ways
Identification and creation of Data communities
Defining, leading and delivering the tools and concepts into teams and business departments across the bank
Work with the wider Data CoE team in the delivery of solutions to meet the business need
Create and deliver standard guidance, education, training packages, and communications material
Gather and collate feedback from users
Work alongside other Data CoE teams to develop and deliver guiding principles and processes for using RDIP data capabilities and/or work packages
University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business MIS or related field, or 5+ years relevant work experience
3+ years in data engineering, data analysis, business intelligence/data warehousing experience or related experience
Knowledge and experience of data strategy including Data Governance, Metadata, and Master Data Management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound business and technical skills, with agility to learn and ability to quickly become comfortable with businesses areas or technologies
Banking or Financial Services Industry background
Comfortable with common coding languages, such as SQL, Python, Java, scripting, and automation
