Lead Senior Oracle Programmer/Consultant
Programmer/Developer Lead - Senior Consultant II Design/development of various enterprise large-scale web and windows-based .Net Applications: This includes 1.Create interactive front-end (UI) using Angular, HTML 5, CSS3, Bootstrap. 2.Implement Test-driven development of Business logic in .Net Core application. 3.Writing backend code to retrieve/store user data using Entity Framework in database. 4.Construct Rest Web API /Web Service libraries at enterprise level for cross-application system integrations. 5.Using Dapper and Entity Framework Integrate front end with backend to present data in portals. 6.Develop common components that are reusable across projects, ex: caching Frameworks, Integration web APIs & web services which enforces SOA standard. 7.Create windows applications and PowerShell scripts to collect hardware devices data. 8.Implement DevOps CI/CD pipeline to move code from UAT to Production. Enhancements and maintenance existing various custom .Net applications: This includes 1.Enhance existing .Net web applications to improve performance. 2.Debugging application to resolve defect in system. 3.Implement/maintain third party tools such as SCCM, DBMoto. 4.Create/modify complex PowerShell scripts. 5.Performance tuning of the application for the new changes. 6.Support applications/provide upgrades and maintenance as needed Databases design, develop, implement, maintain, and Provide Solution to move Databases to Cloud systems: This includes 1.Create, optimize, maintain complex SQL as part of stored procedures, views, functions, queries. 2.Tune SQL queries and database performance by improving overall table design, indexing, query plan analysis and refactoring. 3.Review database objects for data integrity, quality, security, recoverability, scalability, maintenance and capacity and recommend changes as necessary. 4.Writing Queries in Neo4j, Cosmos Db and Gremlin API. 5.Create new database replications using DBMoto tool. Requirement gathering and technical feasibility: This includes 1.Work closely with Capgemini business analyst and business users to gather and understand business, system and environmental requirements. 2.Review requirements, perform technical feasibility and impact analysis. 3.Preparing conceptual, detailed architectural document, system requirements, technical specifications, user training documents and post production implementation support for assigned projects. 4.Following Agile development methodology and report the work status in the daily scrum calls, estimates the user stories, participate the sprint demo, sprint retrospection and plan meeting. Develop common components: This includes 1.Writing Code that are reusable across projects such as Caching Frameworks, Utility Services, Integration APIs & Web Services which enforces SOA standards. Design and development of various reports using SQL Server Reporting Services, Access and SQL (ODBC competencies): This includes 1.Identify the data sources for creating the reports e.g. Add-remove programs, DataMart, Cerebro, PowerShell script or Initiative tracker report. 2.Design and develop highly configurable SSIS ETL systems. 3.Develop and maintain SSRS reports for the various business applications. generate a SSRS report for SCCM. 4.Monitor performance and optimize / Modify SQL queries for maximum efficiency. Peer review of the deliverables: This includes 1.Reviewing the code of co-workers. 2.To track and monitor if review comments are implemented as suggested. End-to-End Development testing: This includes 1.Perform Unit Testing and Sanitary testing. 2.Implement and Testing artifacts 3.Writing test strategy document, test cases, executing test cases, bug logging, tracking, reporting and closing. 4.Working on testing of various source systems sitting and coming from multi systems. Responsible for User acceptance testing (UAT). 5.Defect logging and Reso Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment. Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems. Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.
Required Skills and Experience:
Write software programs using specific programming languages/platforms such as Java or MS .NET, and related tools, platform and environment. Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment. Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, and/or peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions. Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer. Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs. Perform unit testing Assist in system and user testing Fix errors and bugs that are identified in the course of testing.
Qualifications: 2-5 years (1 year min relevant experience in the role) experience; Bachelors degree
Should be proficient in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
Should have progressing skills on Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
