Basic Purpose:

Provide administrative, business and operations support to the Director of Investment Grade Fixed Income (IGFI) Portfolio Management & Trading and Director of IGFI Research.

Primary Responsibilities:

Administrative support for Directors of the two groups:

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with professionals in all relevant functional areas of Eaton Vance
  • Assist with schedule management in Microsoft Outlook
  • Monitor e-mail and manage with responses and alerts to high priority messages
  • Provide phone and message support
  • Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements including full itinerary
  • Facilitate production of presentation materials for meetings
  • Complete and submit expense reports.

Administrative support for the two IGFI teams:

  • Coordinate on site meetings by booking conference room spaces, arranging for IT support when required and admitting visitors
  • Coordinate team calendars
  • Perform tasks related to business continuity, record retention, and centralized departmental responsibilities such as tracking attendance and ordering office supplies
  • Review and analyze IGFI subscriptions and other business-related information. Provide analysis and feedback where necessary
  • Assist with filing documents which may include both physical and electronic file storage
  • Sort and distribute mail

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and a strong academic record.
  • Proficient with technology including use of Microsoft Office, telephone system, and mobile devices.
  • High level of maturity and discretion Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner Quantitative skills.
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally work long or flexible hours.
