You'll collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, security, operations, and product teams to deliver scalable, modern technology solutions that improve employee experience and operational performance.




WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM



The Senior Specialist, Technology Change & Communications, sits within Bain's internal Change Management team and plays a hands-on role in supporting the delivery and adoption of technology transformation initiatives. Working across cross-functional teams, they translate complex project and technology changes into clear, engaging, and well-structured materials, from training decks and user guides to SharePoint microsites and rollout communications, that help end users understand, navigate, and adopt new technology. As part of a small team, this role offers the opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities, build new skills, and get hands-on experience across different aspects of change management.




WHAT YOU'LL DO




Change Plan Delivery





  • Owns delivery of assigned components of the change plan, coordinating logistics, managing dependencies within their scope, and translating broader tasks into actionable steps.

  • Develops targeted, visually engaging communications and training materials for assigned components, tailored to stakeholder group(s) and delivery channel, aligned with the change strategy, and under guidance from leadership.

  • Builds reusable communication assets, such as templates, toolkits, and structured SharePoint sites, to support consistency, enable handoff, and enhance long-term usability.

  • Tracks progress, timelines, and dependencies, flagging blockers, risks, or resistance to leadership.

  • May manage temporary or rotational staff like interns or contractors to help complete this work.




Stakeholder Engagement & Change Insights





  • Ensures assigned deliverables are aligned and ready for deployment, collecting and synthesizing stakeholder feedback, applying straightforward adjustments independently, and escalating items that require discussion.

  • Identifies, tracks, and analyzes metrics, distilling to critical insights and actionable findings.

  • Supports identification of impacted populations and maps user journeys for assigned components of initiatives.




Domain Knowledge





  • Develops, maintains, and demonstrates domain knowledge including both Bain practices and external market trends, including new communication tools and training channels as they emerge.

  • Contributes to team knowledge by documenting lessons learned, supporting templates and tools, and sharing best practices to strengthen consistency across teams.




ABOUT YOU




Experience





  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience supporting or executing change-related work (e.g., rollout communications, stakeholder engagement, training logistics).




Education





  • Associate/Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.




Knowledge, Skills and Abilities





  • Solid understanding of change management concepts, including stakeholder readiness and adoption.

  • Strong written and visual communication skills, tailored to audience and channel.

  • Ability to structure and execute tasks independently, with attention to detail and timelines.

  • Skilled in identifying dependencies, surfacing risks, and supporting cross-functional coordination.

  • Communicates proactively and demonstrates ownership of assigned work.

  • Adapts quickly to new tools, internal processes, and evolving priorities.




Additional Information





  • This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 1 day per week.




U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION



Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain's best in class benefits package (details listed below).



Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:



• In
Massachusetts , the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between
$97,000 - $116,500 .



• In
Illinois , the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between
$93,000 - $111,500 .



• Annual discretionary performance bonus.



• This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation.



• 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date.
