The Corporate Treasury function at Cantor Fitzgerald is responsible for funding, liquidity management, cash management, capital management, banking & rating agency relationships across Cantor's businesses globally, including BGC Partners and Newmark Knight Frank. We are seeking a Vice President to join our Corporate Treasury team in New York City. In this role, the individual will be primarily responsible for tactical execution within our real estate business groups with a focus on funding, liquidity, and capital management, analytics and reporting. Additionally, the individual will also support the broader Corporate Treasury function develop / enhance policies & procedures, analytics, monitoring, and reporting capabilities within the areas of funding, liquidity, capital management, and transfer pricing. The role offers significant opportunity to engage with senior members of various business groups and enterprise functions across the firm.

In this role, the individual's responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve real estate treasury processes / controls / costs
  • Provide real estate groups with network management support including the negotiation of legal documentation, centralized cash management system implementation, and operational assignments / setup
  • Actively contribute to the firm's efforts around enhancing funding and liquidity analytics including stress testing and transfer pricing processes across Cantor's businesses
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, performing research and analysis
  • Assist in the continued development of functional policies, procedures, operational controls, data management and information technology initiatives
  • As called upon, provide guidance and training to Associates and Analysts on the team

What we expect in a candidate:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management is required
  • 7+ years of Treasury or Risk Management experience within banking, capital markets and / or real estate focused firms
  • Prior experience in developing and managing liquidity stress testing & analytics, and funds transfer pricing processes / models
  • Highly analytical, with excellent ability to work with large data sets on MS Excel or other applications
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment working independently as well as in teams
  • Self-starter with drive to improve the status quo
  • Commitment to high quality and ability to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, business writing, creative problem-solving and project management skills are important for this position
