Cyber Security Solutions Engineering Leader

Job Description:

The Cyber Security Solutions Engineering Leader will be a member of the Global Banking and Markets Business Information Security Officer's (BISO) leadership team and work closely with the Technology Executives supporting the Global Banking & Markets business to secure the technology ecosystem.

Scale/Scope:
•Possess strong / experienced application development and/or application security background; with solid knowledge of SDLC from design, testing, deployment to post production and the different risk elements associated with each step.
•Serves as an Information Security subject matter expert and participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of information security for the line of business (LOB)
• Develops a security technology strategy and roadmap in conjunction with business technology leadership that secures the business.
• Experience with data Loss Prevention concepts and products (such as Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, RSA or Mcafee DLP, etc...)
•Data encryption concepts and products (such as Vormetric, Protegrity, Voltage, etc...)
•Data classification concepts and products (such as Titus, Varonis, etc...)
•Tokenization, data masking, data dispersion techniques
• Ability to support and liaise with business process owners to incorporate data protection products and provisions into their processes.
•Must be able to work collaboratively with other areas to advocate information security solutions.
•Must possess a high degree of initiative, motivation, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to communicate security, data protection, data loss prevention related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, including senior business leaders
• Provides security solutions to cutting edge technology implementations
RRisk Management:
•Drives GIS/LOB risk deliverables
•Collaborates with risk partners on info security critical priorities
•Participates in senior LOB specific Risk Management forums
•Identifies and measures global information security (GIS) controls on most critical business processes or channels

Leadership/Strategy:
•Has a solid understanding of security for computing platforms (PaaS)
•Has a solid understanding of security in big data and other instructed large data structures
•Ability to build strong Partner relationships with peer technology groups and supported LOB
•Supports the triage process with the client and helps them understand the GIS support structure
•Drives required risk culture and partnership with peer technology teams and supported LOB
•Participates in key CIO operating routines to drive information security risk strategy

Required Skills:

•Has a solid understanding of security for computing platforms (PaaS)
•Has a solid understanding of security in big data and other instructed large data structures
•Ability to build strong Partner relationships with peer technology groups and supported LOB • Experience with enterprise application security solutions such as Appscan Enterprise suite, HPE Fortify suite
• Experience with source control, agile development, bug tracking, build automation, and change control platforms
• Understanding of static and dynamic application security scanning technologies (SAST / DAST), and fuzzing
• Excellent interpersonal and online communication skills
• Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight. Motivated and willing to learn.
• Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking.
• Effective communication skills
• Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
• Must have strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management

Desired Skills:

•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Detailed, bank specific access administration knowledge in Windows, Midrange and Mainframe Platforms with emphasis on security and access controls.
• Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
• Ability to work with Technical and Non Technical business owners
• Assist with internal efficiencies projects and development
