Digital Product Manager - Financial Engineering New York - United States
The Digital Product Manager for GBIS in the Americas will focus on:
  • Help define SG America's digital roadmap, in full alignment with the principles defined together with Paris headquarters. Make sure projects adhere to SG's global strategy to maximize return on investment
  • Oversee technological developments together with the businesses and technology: stay in sync with teams, monitor and track progress, find problems early, investigate their root causes, propose solutions if you can, escalate if needed
  • Know what engineers are working on and help connect dots that wouldn't otherwise get connected. Ensure that projects re-use existing services and that innovative services are designed to be re-used in other regions and business lines to make our business more efficient
  • Meet with clients, understand their needs and how SG can refine its offers and processes to improve its clients experience
  • Find opportunities for growth and digital transformation: conduct small experiments and measure their value to determine if businesses could benefit from technology related transformation programs
  • Be an information hub on digital capacities and spread their knowledge. Stay up to date on latest technologies and stay proficient but don't personally fix bugs and ship features

  • Profile Required

    Required skills:
  • Digital expertise in addition to a good IT / project management / change management mindset
  • Good knowledge of financial services organization, culture and business processes (front to back)
  • Flexible and fast learning on new subjects
  • Rigorous, analytical and effective results oriented mindset, with a high capacity to analyze and summarize
  • Team spirit for promoting a collaborative team-working environment
  • Risk Management
