Global Spread Products - Product Developer
Responsibilities: - Support the data needs of our Syndicate businesses, including those that originate ABS, CMBS, RMBS, CLO, and Muni bonds
- Design and develop solutions to continuously enhance the division's analytic insights, business processes, and controls
- Leverage existing processes, data sources, and tools to maintain and develop data insights for management
- Partner with internal organizations such as finance, risk, middle office, and compliance to improve cross functional workflows, feeds, and reporting
- Create tactical solutions to increase business efficiency
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests and reporting
- Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for improvements
- Maintain appropriate documentation on developed solutions for data governance which allow stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process
- Provide user training, solicit feedback, and drive systems adoption for developed tools
Qualifications: - Candidate is required to have a BA/BS
- Must be passionate about technology and innovation within the financial services industry
- Proficient knowledge of MS suite, including VBA
- Proficient knowledge of data modeling and relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
- Experience developing BI reporting tools and dashboards in Qlikview or Tableau
- Basic knowledge of financial mathematics, statistics, and reasoning
- Must be a team player; must be able to contribute and foster ideas within the team
- Must have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines with changing priorities
Education: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
