Location: Dallas, TXEvaluate software requirements and develop Quality Assurance (QA) plans, QA test scripts, and acceptance criteria for various testing phases. Develop and implement test procedures. Identify and review QA tasks and associated level of effort for the project plan. Prepare and execute functional and acceptance testing of new and revised modules, and automated test scripts using C# and VB script programming knowledge. Utilize VSTS, Selenium, Quick Test Professional (QTP), Telerik Test Studio, or Microsoft Office automation tools. Implement new and modified QA procedures and standards, and prepare clear and concise defect reports and validate fixes. Support the implementation of applications into production, identify and resolve issues in the production environment, and analyze and resolve defects identified through the QA process.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Performing change management, risk management, gap analysis, and requirement analysis; Evaluating and implementing optimum QA methodologies, including Scrum; Utilizing Microsoft .NET Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for testing; Utilizing Team Foundation Server (TFS) or HP Quality Center; Designing and executing test plans and procedures for the desktop integration and functional testing of new or modified application systems; and Utilizing VB Scripting and C# programming for QA Automated Testing (including Functional, Performance, and Web Services) on Visual Studio Coded UI, QTP, Telerik Test Studio, or Selenium.
