Capital Modelling Manager

Lead and develop a team of capital analysts, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Take ownership of the ongoing use and governance of the internal capital model.
Support model development initiatives, enhancements and validation activities.
Lead parameterisation exercises, ensuring assumptions remain appropriate and well documented.
Deliver capital reporting for internal and regulatory stakeholders.
Support business planning, reinsurance optimisation and strategic decision making through capital analysis.
Work closely with Risk, Actuarial and Finance teams to ensure consistency and alignment across capital processes.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and committees.

Requirements

Qualified Actuary (or equivalent experience).
Strong capital modelling experience within the insurance market.
Experience of internal model use, parameterisation and model development.
Strong understanding of Solvency II / regulatory capital frameworks.
Previous management or mentoring experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
