Compliance Manager, Macquarie Asset Management

Macquarie Group London, United Kingdom
Shape how complex investment strategies come to life by providing trusted compliance advice across public and private credit markets. Join a high-impact team at the centre of Macquarie Asset Management, where your insight helps enable growth, manage risk, and support innovation across EMEA

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will partner closely with business teams across Macquarie Asset Management to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused compliance advice that supports fund origination, distribution and ongoing management across credit and insurance strategies. You will help shape and maintain a robust compliance framework for UK regulated entities, contribute to regulatory reporting and oversee the monitoring and escalation of key compliance risks. By staying ahead of regulatory developments and supporting strategic projects, you will play a key role in enabling the business to operate with confidence in a dynamic regulatory environment. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.

  • Knowledge of UK and European regulatory frameworks, with the ability to apply this in a practical, business-facing way

  • Commercial mindset with sound judgement, balancing regulatory requirements with business outcomes
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and continuously build your expertise in areas such as AIFMD and MiFID
