Job Title: Information Management Practitioner - 12 months fix term contract

Salary: Up to £39,200 dependent on experience

Role description:



As an Information Management Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring information and records are managed securely, efficiently and in line with business and regulatory requirements across the Naval Ships business. Working closely with the Information Manager , you will help drive digital information management improvements, provide expert guidance on information security and records management , and support governance and assurance activities. You will also oversee records storage and library services, ensuring valuable business information remains accessible, compliant and protected.




Core Duties:

• Champion compliance with Information and Records Management Policy and best practice.


• Maintain and improve governance documents, processes and assurance activities.


• Manage records storage and business library services effectively and compliantly.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance digital information management capabilities.

Essential skills:

• Extensive knowledge of Information and Records Management principles , standards and best practice.


• Ability to work independently , prioritise workloads and use initiative .


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint applications with good organisational skills.
