DCS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the NSWCDD B30 Electronic Warfare and Spectrum Operations (EWSO) mission. This position will design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain software for Navy EW and shipboard systems, including real-time applications, combat-system interfaces, modeling and simulation, and containerized environments. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering discipline with experience developing mission-critical defense systems.

Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor or higher degree from an accredited university in engineering, computer/software engineering or computer science plus 10 years of experience in software design, development and engineering applied to program and system level development.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
5 years of demonstrated experience in the following areas:
3 years concurrent progressive experience developing applications in a containerized environment (such as Docker and Podman).

- Developing weapons systems and subsystem level software products, databases (Oracle, MSAccess, etc).
- LINUX and MS Windows operating systems and interfaces.
- Electronic Warfare Systems and other Shipboard systems.
- Combat system integration and system architecture.
- Navy Software Safety and industry best programming practices.
- Modeling and/or simulations, real-time system control architectures, interface coding, Information Assurance/Cyber Security requirements, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) experience.
- Ability to code in programming languages and tools such as: in C++; C #; Rust; JAVA; Simu-Link; Python; GNAT Ada compiler; VxWorks; Tornado; JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Developing software to communicate with other hardware using protocols such as: Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/ Internet Protocol (IP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Real-Time Innovations (RTI) Data Distribution Service (DDS), and Product Line Architecture (PLA), and serial communications.
- Object Oriented software design concepts.
- Agile methodology.
3 years concurrent progressive experience developing applications in a containerized environment (such as Docker and Podman).
