You will play a key role in supporting the firm's accounting, financial reporting, and operational excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong corporate accounting expertise with hands-on automation capabilities, including advanced VBA development and AI-assisted productivity tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
2. Prepare and review management reports, financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
3. Develop and implement workflow automation solutions using VBA, AI-assisted tools, and other emerging technologies.
4. Design and enhance automated reporting, reconciliation, and financial control processes to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
5. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and data governance.
6. Lead system enhancements, finance transformation projects, and process redesign initiatives across the finance function.
7. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Technology, and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective automation and reporting solutions.
8. Support budgeting, forecasting, audit activities, regulatory reporting, tax compliance, and internal control initiatives.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

1. 4+ years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, audit, FP&A, finance transformation, shared services, or related finance functions.
2. Proven experience leading process improvement, automation, system implementation, or finance transformation initiatives.
3. Advanced VBA programming skills with a demonstrated track record of developing automated reporting and workflow solutions.
4. Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern productivity platforms to accelerate automation initiatives is highly desirable.

6. Strong understanding of financial accounting, month-end close processes, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and internal controls.
7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
8. Strong ability to bridge finance and technology teams, translating accounting requirements into practical technical solutions.
9. Strong growth mindset with a solution-oriented approach and proven stakeholder management capabilities.
10. Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.
