You will play a key role in supporting the firm's accounting, financial reporting, and operational excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong corporate accounting expertise with hands-on automation capabilities, including advanced VBA development and AI-assisted productivity tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review management reports, financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Develop and implement workflow automation solutions using VBA, AI-assisted tools, and other emerging technologies.
- Design and enhance automated reporting, reconciliation, and financial control processes to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and data governance.
- Lead system enhancements, finance transformation projects, and process redesign initiatives across the finance function.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Technology, and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective automation and reporting solutions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, audit activities, regulatory reporting, tax compliance, and internal control initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, audit, FP&A, finance transformation, shared services, or related finance functions.
- Proven experience leading process improvement, automation, system implementation, or finance transformation initiatives.
- Advanced VBA programming skills with a demonstrated track record of developing automated reporting and workflow solutions.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern productivity platforms to accelerate automation initiatives is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting, month-end close processes, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and internal controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong ability to bridge finance and technology teams, translating accounting requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Strong growth mindset with a solution-oriented approach and proven stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.
