Our client, an international banking group, is looking to appoint a senior banking professional to lead and grow its corporate and investment banking business across Malaysia and selected Southeast Asian markets.
Responsibilities
The role will focus on expanding the existing corporate client portfolio, developing new relationships and increasing wallet share across key clients. The successful candidate will be expected to bring strong relationships with senior decision-makers across large corporates, multinational companies, regional groups and sovereign-linked entities, while identifying new opportunities for business growth.
Working closely with regional and global product teams, the individual will originate and structure corporate and investment banking solutions across areas including financing, treasury, markets and other relevant products. Strong commercial judgement, client connectivity and the ability to develop long-term relationships will be important to the success of the role.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of banking experience, including significant experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Wholesale Banking or Corporate Coverage. A strong track record of originating and growing corporate relationships, together with an established network among leading Malaysian corporates, is highly relevant.
