Roast my CV: Am I the wrong type of banker?

I am finance business partner with over 15 years of experience working at over a dozen different companies providing my services.

I’ve been looking for work since the start of the pandemic when my division was restructured away to Pune, India.

Apparently, being a (commercial) banker doesn’t mean much in London, but I am looking to change specialties and willing to relocate to Europe or the Middle East. What chance do I have of achieving this with the CV below? Please leave your comments at the bottom of this article.

    You need to cut the CV down to 2 pages max. Preferably 1 page. Maybe even just a bullet point per each job you did. I would cut the introduction explaining how great you are. Im somewhat surprised aan experienced accountant like you is still looking for work after a year of looking in this environment. There must be a red flag on your CV somewhere to HR people or hiring people.

    I'm not HR but if someone who said they speak English like a native was capitalizing the start of random words and making little errors in their resume AND bouncing from workplace to workplace after a few months like that, I'd assume the entire resume could be taken with a pinch of salt...


    Your CV is the first thing employers see. Put some effort in taking it from 95% to 100% or you'll be overlooked by the people who start with 100%.
