It seems some more credit people left Mizuho in London
As we have written, credit salespeople and traders keep leaving Mizuho's European business. This is occurring still.

Following the exits of Vikram Dadlani, who joined from Deutsche Bank to run EMEA credit trading in September 2025 and of Asif Godall, who hired him and left in May, plus many others, we understand that Mizuho has waved more goodbyes.
Mizuho isn't commenting and neither are the individuals concerned, but multiple sources say that Rob Samuels, the head of UK credit sales at Mizuho, is on his way to Santander. Santander did not respond to a request to confirm this. Samuels is still registered with Mizuho on the FCA Register.
At the same time, we understand that senior credit researcher Philippe Landroit, who left SocGen in June and arrived at Mizuho earlier this month according the FCA Register, is also leaving. This has not been confirmed with Landroit, who didn't respond to requests to comment. He too is still registered as working for Mizuho by the regulator.
Mizuho's London credit business is in the clutch of change. New York-based David Moore has been appointed interim head of global markets for EMEA. Moore flies in and out.
